How it works
Four steps. A written map before any money. A report every month.
- 01
Free review
Tell us the name or business. Within one business day we search it the way the public does, score every result and show you exactly what is hurting you and why.
- 02
Your plan and fixed quote
For every result: the removal route it qualifies for, or how and how fast we will push it down. A written scope, timeline and price before any work starts.
- 03
The work
Takedowns filed and followed to resolution. Accurate content published on real news sites and ranked. Reviews disputed and answered. A report of every step, every month.
- 04
Protection
Weekly monitoring for twelve months after the clean-up, included. New problems are caught in week one, not after a customer finds them.
In detail
What actually happens, week by week
Day 1: the review
We search your name or business exactly the way the public does: Google pages one and two, autocomplete, “people also ask”, image results, news, and the review sites that matter in your field. Each result is scored and labelled: positive, neutral, negative, or yours. You receive the map within one business day.
Day 2 to 3: the plan
Every negative result is checked against every removal route: Google’s policies, the host site’s rules, copyright, court orders, state mugshot and privacy laws. Results that qualify go on the removal list with a per-item price, payable only when they are down. Results that do not get a suppression target (the position we will move it to) and a date. You receive the scope, timeline and fixed price in writing.
Weeks 1 to 4: filings and foundations
Takedown requests go out in the first week and are followed to resolution; most policy removals and data-broker opt-outs resolve inside this window. In parallel we audit and fix everything you own: your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, directories, bios, so the positive content has somewhere to land.
Months 1 to 6: publishing and ranking
Accurate features, interviews, expert commentary and announcements about you are written and published on News Media House and the news sites in its network, then promoted and linked so they climb. Reviews are disputed and answered. First movement in search typically shows in six to twelve weeks; strong results usually leave page one between month three and month six.
Every month: the report
One page, plain English. Where each result sits now, where it sat last month, where the target is. What was filed, what was published, what is next. You can forward it to your lawyer, your board or your spouse.
After: protection
Weekly monitoring for twelve months is included after any plan. If a new result or review appears, you hear about it that week with a recommendation. If something we removed comes back, we remove it again, free.
Timelines
How long things take, by type
| What is showing up | First movement | Typically resolved | What can slow it down |
|---|---|---|---|
| Policy-breaking reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook and others) | 3 to 10 days | 1 to 4 weeks | Appeals after a first rejection; platforms that want proof the reviewer was never a customer. |
| Personal information on people-search and data-broker sites | Days | 2 to 6 weeks for the first pass; re-checked quarterly | Brokers that demand ID or phone verification; records that repopulate from new public filings. |
| Mugshots and booking pages | 1 to 2 weeks | 2 to 6 weeks | Missing dismissal or expungement paperwork; sites outside the US. |
| Google removals (personal info, explicit images, doxxing, outdated pages) | 1 to 3 weeks | 1 to 4 weeks | Requests filed under the wrong policy; content that Google judges to be in the public interest. |
| Copyright (DMCA) takedowns | 2 to 10 days | 1 to 3 weeks | Counter-notices; hosts outside the US. |
| Suppression of a lawful article or complaint page | 6 to 12 weeks | 3 to 6 months off page one; 6 to 12 months for a stable page one | Very strong source sites (major national news); a thin or neglected online presence to start from; many results instead of one. |
| Google autocomplete predictions | 6 to 10 weeks | 3 to 6 months | A prediction that people keep searching and clicking. |
| Court-ordered defamation removal | After the order | 1 to 3 weeks after the order is issued | The court case itself, which can take months. |
These are the ranges we quote from. Your written plan gives the timeline for each of your specific results, and the monthly report measures against it. The same table appears everywhere on this site, on purpose.
