What we cannot do, and what we do instead
Every reputation firm’s website says “no one can guarantee removal” somewhere in the small print while the headline promises a guaranteed fix. We would rather put the list on its own page. Here is what nobody honest can remove, and the route we take for each.
| Cannot be removed | Why | What we do instead |
|---|---|---|
| Truthful news coverage | Lawful, protected speech. Google will not remove it and neither will a court. | Ask the editor for an update or de-indexing when charges were dropped or years have passed (works more often than people think). Otherwise suppression: your real story, published on real news sites, ranked above it. |
| Court records on official government sites | Public record by law. | Expungement or sealing where you qualify, which also unlocks removal from mirror sites. Suppression for the rest. |
| Genuine negative reviews | A real customer’s real opinion is allowed, even when it is wrong about the facts. | A calm public response written for the next reader, and a steady flow of real reviews so one bad day stops being your average. |
| Wikipedia articles | Edited by volunteers under their own rules; paid editing without disclosure is prohibited. | Talk-page requests with reliable sources for factual errors. Everything else, suppression and a stronger presence around it. |
| Lawful opinion, criticism and commentary | Protected speech. | Outrank it. Where it crosses into defamation, a lawyer and, with a judgment, removal. |
| Government, regulator and licensing-board pages | Official records. | Where the record is wrong, the agency’s correction process. Otherwise suppression. |
| Content on the internet archive and caches | Sometimes removable, often not; policies vary. | Requests where the archive accepts them; the live result matters far more than the archive, so we focus there. |
| Anything by faking it | Fake reviews, invented stories and bot networks violate platform rules, several state laws and the FTC’s rules, and they get caught. | Nothing. We will not do it, and we tell you when another firm is proposing it. |
What can be removed
Personal information, non-consensual images, doxxing, content about minors, copyrighted material, pay-to-remove mugshot pages, outdated pages, reviews that break platform rules, and defamation a court has ruled on. For those, we charge only when the content is down. How removal works.
How you will know which is which
The free review labels every result on your page one and two: removable (and under which rule), or suppress (and roughly how long). You get that before anyone asks you for money. Start the free review.
